Questions about the fire circle
Who is this for?
Sisterhood for women, femmes, and gender-expansive folks. Every body, every race and ethnicity, every sexuality, every ability, every age. Trans women, nonbinary, gender-fluid, gender-nonconforming.
What should I bring?
Something to share, a camp chair or a blanket, a layer for after dark, and a flashlight for the walk from the lot. Erin and Lauren bring the firewood.
Coming with a friend?
Send her this page so she can RSVP too.
Will there be movement?
We won’t be doing a Qoya practice at this gathering, but we may enjoy some light movement together.
What if it rains?
We have the pavilion rented, so we gather rain or shine.
How do I find you?
Cabin John Regional Park, Robert C. McDonell Campground, 7701 Tuckerman Lane, Potomac, MD 20854. The campground has its own entrance on Tuckerman Lane (look for the Campground Entrance sign, not the main park entrance on Westlake Drive). Turn in, follow the road up to the first parking lot, and park there. Campsites 1 and 2 are right beside that lot, and the picnic pavilion is a short walk up the road. Bring a flashlight for after dark.
